Deepawali Rangoli Competition
As a part of the DiwaIi Celebration, Anand Niketan Satellite Campus organized an Inter Class Innovative Deepawali Rangoli Competition.
The classes which participated in the competition were Grade 5 to 12 from both the ICSE and the Cambridge Section. The students of each section collaborated and created an artistic and innovative rangoli based on the themes – Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan.
They used a plethora of innovative material comprising ear buds, tooth picks, CDs, bottle tops, used plastic bottles, reused paper, lego blocks, dominos, soft toys etc. apart from flowers, leaves and rangoli colours to create their designs.
Ms. Anurita Rathore from Ahmedabad Mirror and Ms. Neeti Awasthi, a culinary and rangoli artist were, the eminent judges who tirelessly inspected all the designs and encouraged all the children and appreciated their dedication, creativity and collaboration.
The winning classes were awarded a certificate of excellence in appreciation of their efforts.
Ms. Nashy Chauhan, Director, Anand Niketan Group of Schools said, ‘The theme given to the students and the activity of rangoli making, both complemented each other wonderfully in the children’s creations. Their logical and creative designs and interpretation left me completely amazed.
